PetSmart Product Detail Page Redesign
Following analysis of user feedback and taking a mobile-first approach I took lead on redesigning the Product Detail Page on PetSmart.com.
Original product detail page design
Pain points included: Shipping options caused a confusion to users, the SKU image scrolled with the page causing a lot of real estate to be lost, Item description was very low on the page, all product information was in one large content block making content organization difficult.
New product detail page designs:
The new designs solved many of the user feedback concerns and significantly improved conversion on the site. It allowed for a much smoother transition between mobile & desktop designs and provided clarity to users about various shipping methods that are available.
